The mystery of creation

The work of Lithuanian artist Aurelija Werger roots in inner contemplation and in the search for answers to the questions of human experience. For example, how does our inner world connect to the outer world? Or how can we expand our perception and reconnect with ourselves as well as our natural surroundings?

Her paintings grow and shift, they challenge the spectator to broaden their own thought and observation. Because Werger sees nature as a very powerful transformative tool, her art tends to resemble different forms of life. Working very intuitively and submerged in the process, she aims to reach the perfect union between the mind and the heart.
